Haven't gone that step yet in technology. Lots of people have them, along with iPhones too. With all your running around, Vikky, I'm sure it's really handy to have to keep you in touch with everything else.

My phone is slowly falling apart but.......... even though it's important for me to be up with technology on this I can't..... I don't want to know everytime I have an email or summat happens. I need me and my thoughts sometimes.

But - on saying that I don't know of one person that has a blackberry that doesn't love it! :)

At the company I work under we get "drip leads" meaning that anyone that registers to look at our website is logged and we get that lead by email. Most agents want to know and act on it immediately so they have the information sent to their phones. Sorry, I don't wish to compete (for want of a better word) with four other agents for a lead that's 50 miles away and probably a Looky Lu. Don't get me wrong - I'm not lazy (far from it) but I prefer to work in a different way and I don't want to be "on" all the time.

I agree with you about the amazing speed of technological advancement, the only step missing is teletransportation, it won't be long before 'estate agents' suddenly appear in front of you as soon as you log on to their website, or return home from shopping and find you have a housefull of teletransported Jehova's Witnesses waiting for you in your living room. On the upside you will be able to shop online and the purchases will appear by your side the instant you order them.

My kids send pics of our grandkids to it, but no matter what i do i cant get the pics off the phone onto the computer. Does anyone know how to do this. Ted, I bet if you asked one of the kids on your bus they'd have it sorted in no time.

I'm not far behind you Stan, I bought one almost two years ago to keep in the car for emergencies only. It still has most of the original £20 'pay as you go' pre-payment, it must be the world's least used mobile phone.

Ted have you got bluetooth on your phone and computer - if you have you can download via bluetooth.

Just saw what Stan and Diaz wrote. I'm scanning my brain trying to think if anyone I know doesn't have a cell phone.

First "cell phone" I had was in the nineties and it was attached to my console and it was HUGE!
